We have commenced gravel banding on the course this week which will help alleviate the muddy areas which are problematic during periods of wet weather. These gravel bands consist of a 2-6mm grade material which are insert by machine to a depth of approximately 200mm and are 25mm wide. They are linked to existing piped drainage channels. The areas we are looking to complete are as follows: 2nd fairway/green approach, 4th green walk off, 7th green walk off, 10th approach, 13th approach, 14th tee area, 15th tee area, 17th tee area, 19th fairway, 23rd tee area.
