South West Counties Week

Cumberwell is hosting the South West Counties Week from Saturday 9th June - Friday 15th June.

It is a great honour for the club to be chosen to host one of the premier amateur golf events in the South West.

The 6 counties in the South West - Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Cornwall and the County English Mens County Champions Wiltshire compete over 6 days in a round robin matchplay competition.

The event is being played over the Red and Yellow courses so this does mean that the course are closed for the majority of the week. On Sunday 10th, Monday 11th, Wednesday 13th, Thursday 14th and Friday 15th the Red 9 reopens at 4pm and the Yellow 9 at 6pm. On Tuesday 14th the Red and Yellow will reopen at 6pm

If you wish to watch some of the South Wests best amateur golfers then please feel free to come along and watch. The home county of Wiltshire (Cumberwell's Ali James is part of the team) will be most grateful for any support
