Before birdies & eagles…….there were cows!

“30^th April 1992 saw the dispersal sale of the dairy herd at Cumberwell. Approximately 300 dairy cows and youngstock were sold that day. Some went as far afield as Carlisle. The golf course itself was used for grazing and cropping.
