Course update

We have seen good recovery from our recent hollow coring operation on the greens. We have applied a number of sand dressings to ensure all the holes are filled. We have now taken the height of cut down to 4mm which is the norm for this time of year. The cool daytime temperatures and night frosts have meant that the Poa Annua species is lagging behind the fescue and bent grasses. This is quite common at this time of year but can result in an uneven ball roll. Although we can use our vibrating rollers to help counteract this, a boost in temperatures is the key.
