Mixed Texas Scramble and Captains Drive Ins

Well done to all who played in the Drive In Texas Scramble on Sunday 25th March and also to those who joined us for the BBQ and Drive Ins, afterwards.

The awesome combination of Ian Haskins, Judy Meyer and Mr Vince Pidgeley took pole position on the winners’ rostrum with a net 63.1 [Gross 68]

Our Runners Up were André Korynevsky, Juliet Gwazdacz and Danny Clayton with a net 63.2 [Gross 69] and in

Third place were Mark Cottrell, Judith May and Luke Cottis with a net 65.4 [Gross 70].

Winning a sleeve of Pro VI golf balls for each member of their team for being Nearest the Pin were Mr Vince Pidgeley [3^rd hole], Trevor Kent [7^th hole], Rob Scarfe [13^th hole] and Mark Hobbs [16^th hole].

Rob Sandel [Club Captain], Nicky Tranter [Ladies Captain] and Dave Larcombe all impressed with their drivers - and in the case of the Seniors’ Captain with his putter, too - but pride of place goes to Gregg Hood, the Juniors’ Captain who found the 10^th green from the back tee.
